This staff person is responsible for managing all partial hospitalization and psychiatric rehabilitation programs serving clients with acute, sub-acute and chronic mental illness. Responsible for assuring standards of care are in full compliance with all external regulators, managed care organizations and payers. The position assures quality of service delivery with the objective of maintaining the clients in the community.
This position requires a Master's Degree in a relevant discipline; or graduation from an approved school of nursing and a current Pennsylvania license as a Registered Nurse.
Five (5) years clinical and psychiatric rehabilitation services experience preferably in a mental health setting, a Registered Nurse with at least six years of psychiatric clinical experience. Must possess good knowledge of clinical treatment methods. Requires independent thinking. Demonstrates verbal and written communication skills and the ability to express ideas in a clear, concise and legible form. Ability to organize and prioritize multifaceted workload. Must exercise tact, diplomacy and good judgment at all times.
Must be certified by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association as a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner
