The Senior Clinician is a new position added as a result of organic growth to this established, stable and expanding extended care addiction treatment facility which takes great pride in providing high-quality, individualized, compassionate care to high-end young adult men. The Twelve Steps are the solid foundation of this organization with highly individualized treatment planning and intensive concierge case management. The Senior Clinician, is a full-time position providing 2-3 dynamic group therapy sessions/week, individual counseling, family sessions and strategic intervention with clients and families to maintain motivation and participation of 22-26 men and their supportive families in recovery activities, education and employment. This position works with the clinical staff of psychiatrists and other clinicians to assess co-occurring disorders, prevent relapse and help clients develop healthy coping mechanisms. Reporting to the CEO of the facility, the Senior Clinician uses a variety of clinical skills to accomplish these tasks, to motivate clients to commit to a sober lifestyle and to maintain clients’ participation to the successful completion of the 12-month program. This position will receive a competitive base salary plus a generous bonus based on client retention and will reside in south Florida.
Master degree in behavioral science (e.g. social work, psychology), licensed for independent practice plus certification in addiction treatment
Demonstrated current knowledge and training in experiential treatment methods
Minimum 1 year working with Sober Living that has a minimum 1-year stay
Demonstrated ability to work with high-end/entitled clients and families
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
