Pediatric Primary Care Physician, Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor
The Department of Pediatrics at Stony Brook Children's Hospital seeks faculty for the Division of Pediatric Primary Care Medicine at either the Assistant or Associate Professor Level.
To qualify for an appointment as Associate Professor the candidate must meet the School of Medicine's criteria for Appointment, Promotion and Tenure located at:
Requirements include: MD/DO degree, Board Eligible/Board Certified in Pediatrics, eligible for medical licensure in the State of New York. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience with GME.
Responsibilities will include development of teaching, research and patient care programs appropriate to a major university. Individuals will be selected on the basis of their training, clinical experience, research potential and their commitment to teaching.
This is a faculty academic position at the Assistant/Associate Professor level. Individuals will be selected on the basis of their training, clinical experience, research potential and their commitment to teaching. Faculty appointment will be commensurate with qualifications. Excellent resources for research and start-up funds are available. The position will be full time, faculty, academic (Assistant or Associate Professor).
